This board is made of 3 contrasting wood. The outer wood is a reddish colored wood named padauk, the lighter wood is oak, and the central wood is purpleheart which of course is purple in color. The board measures 7" x 10" and is 1" thick. There are rubber feet on the bottom to prevent slippage on the counter top. The colors are natural and the board is finished with a food safe hand rubbed walnut oil.
