Sycamore Bowl

This bowl is made from a solid piece of sycamore and was rough turned in 2019 but finished this year. The colors are soft and the grain patterns are unique. There is a 3/4" lip surrounding the rim of the bowl to make it easier to handle. The bowl measures 8" in diameter and is 2-1/2" high. It is finished with several layers of a hand rubbed satin polyurethane and buffed finish with tripoli polish on the buffing wheel. The finish on the bowl is food safe which allows it to be used as a serving piece if desired or it can be used for decorative purposes. It can be hand washed but should never be placed in a dishwasher or microwave.
